Week 9 - End of February | Sun in Aquarius Constellation
Anyone else so desperate to have the first spring daffodils in view at all times, that you take the house bunch from the vase, tip the water out, wrap the daffs in a bag, stuff them back in the vase ...
...and take them both, travelling with you?? No? Just us then? Well that is exactly what we did with ours when we had to spend a few days away, for a family wedding in Essex UK, early February - so precious was/is their joyful colour, to us, after winter.
"What Visions we are offered
in the awakening of Spring,
to refresh our Souls -
What rejuvenation they Bring!"
The U.K. is the world’s biggest grower of daffodils and they're woven into stories at many of the places in our care. Learn about the daffodil's origins, how there came to be so many varieties and how they've inspired poets and authors throughout the centuries. -

Katie's watercolour painting now turned into beautiful Home Decor.

This joyful daffodil art print features a beautifully hand-painted cluster of spring blooms, capturing the soft texture and colour of Katie’s original artwork.
A symbol of new beginning, daffodils are also the birth flower for March – making this print a perfect gift for birthdays or spring celebrations.
"The vibrant hues of spring daffodils
beckon us to embrace the new season,
their delicate petals a testament
to nature's beauty and resilience."
It's time to, at least think about, unfurling ourselves after the darkness of winter. If you work from home and have been nestling in your pjs or lounge wear for ... rather too long, with your fluffy or knitted woollen socks on (again is that just is?) it's the beginning of the growing season - we have 10 plus hours of light and our bodies really want to get moving outside even if our minds tell us not to (assuming your not sitting on a beach somewhere, like our Sister / Aunty is - it is time to top up on those Vitamin D levels and clear the lymph with a walk outside - to get the ol' brain back in action.

Lets hunt out some special spring colours before it's too late.
