Erin Benzakein is Erin Benzakein is a florist-farmer and founder of Floret Flower Farm, and now American seed company.

Considered to be one of the country’s most influential farmer-florists, Erin has shaped floral design trends, redefined small-scale farming, and inspired others to grow, buy, and share seasonal flowers.

She pushes the limits of what can be.

Erin trials an enormous selection of unique varieties of flowers, each season on her small-scale, high-intensity farm, and her work has been featured in numerous books, websites, and magazines including Martha Stewart, Living, Sunset, Country Living, Organic Life, and more. 

She  farms, designs, writes and lives from her home in Mt Vernon, Washington's scenic Skagit Valley, with her husband and 2 children.

Erin and her flower farm have amassed prestigious awards including the Martha Stewart American Made award for Floral and Event Design and a Better Homes & Gardens’ blogger award.

Her best-selling book, Cut Flower Garden, won the American Horticultural Society’s 2018 Book Award, set sales records at Chronicle Books, and continues to inform, inspire, and delight flower lovers around the world. 

Her second book, A Year in Flowers, made The New York Times’ Bestseller List, and illustrates beautiful seasonal arrangements for every season.
