About Author/Illustrator

When she used to draw as a child, she never knew she’d be lucky enough to do it as a job when she grew up.

She studied Graphic Design and Illustration in Exeter, and her first creations after university were greetings cards for her own business plus a large card company in Bristol.

Rebecca works in a little studio above her friend’s busy jewellery shop and, from there, she has illustrated many picture books for children including the much-loved Ruby the Duckling series.

Her first book was published in 1999 by Egmont and now from her own studio, she have illustrated over 50 children’s books - including picture books and baby books, mostly in the medium of Acrylic.

Rebecca’s work has been published across the world in countries such as Japan, USA, France, Germany and Korea.

Clients include: Pan Macmillan, Campbell, Nosy Crow, Little Tiger Press, Stripes, Gründ, Scholastic, Candlewick, Loewe, Firefly, Atebol, Quarto, and Morfem.

Rebecca lives in Cardiff, South Wales, with her two lovely children.
