Inci: Punica Granatum Seed Oil
Organic Pomegranate Seed Oil is a vibrant, golden-yellow elixir cold-pressed from the cleaned, dried seeds of ripe pomegranate fruit, which grow on pomegranate trees (Punica granatum).
Each fresh fruit yields only a trace of oil, so more than 500 kg of pomegranates are required to obtain a single kilogram, making every drop precious.
The gentle cold-pressing method protects the oil's delicate profile, leaving it unrefined, nutrient-dense, and free from solvents, preservatives or fragrances.
Pomegranate seed oil is the only known botanical source of punicic acid (omega-5), a rare essential fatty acid with powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and skin regenerative benefits.
Omega-5 is a natural antioxidant that protects the skin from premature ageing, promotes regeneration of the epidermis and stimulates collagen production to keep skin looking smooth, firm and youthful.
Studies suggest that omega-5 can be used on sun-damaged skin as a repairing and rejuvenating treatment, though it should not be used as an SPF.
As the only known botanical source of punicic acid, pomegranate seed oil is a cosmetic staple for any skincare or cosmetics enthusiast.
The oil is also rich in other essential fatty acids, including oleic acid, linoleic acid, and palmitic acid, which help moisturise, soothe irritation, support skin regeneration, and improve elasticity. In addition, it is naturally abundant in tocopherols and phytosterols, which contribute to its nourishing, skin-repairing, and anti-ageing properties.
This unique composition supports the health of the epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin, by stimulating regeneration and improving overall skin appearance.
Whether you craft facial oils, body butters, hair serums or beard balms, Organic Pomegranate Seed Oil brings a touch of silky luxury and a subtle, fruity-nutty aroma to every blend.
Formulators love its thin, fluid consistency: it pours easily, disperses pigments smoothly and combines seamlessly with faster-drying esters for an elegant, quick-absorbing profile.
Because it is lightweight yet emollient, the oil suits all skin types – from dry and mature to combination and occasionally blemish-prone, without clogging pores.
It also shines in after-sun gels and gentle baby-care balms, comforting skin that needs a little extra kindness.
