Collection: Getting Ready - For The Change of Season

Do you get emotional as the change of seasons rush by? Are you excited or sad?

Do you wish you’d spent more time with the kids outside, while the weather was suitable, or wish you’d planted a few more flower seeds, or booked in time for that rock pool visit?

We know that :-

  1. When Late Summer heat starts to fade it can trigger ‘melancholies’ and regret. As the nights get cooler and the long sleeved tops and blankets come out, do you wonder about the rest of the year ahead.
  2. When Autumn’s golds starts to fade, the trees are bare and natural colours and dark brown, greys and blacks dark, it can trigger the ‘dismals’ or even panic due to the rush and pressure of winter holiday expectations.
  3. When Winter seems to have hung around way too long, it can trigger real sunlight-deprivation induced chemical depression.
  4. When Spring’s blossoms start to fade far too soon, we can reprimand ourselves for not spending time to appreciate them.
  5. When Summer Sunshine gets silly hot we can get debilitated if we haven’t planned to rest and cool ourselves, working just as hard as the rest of the year.

By planning a little, we can enjoy each Season more. We can be practically prepared and book in for little nature adventures, or chilled slow times to appreciate, and not miss, the wonderful gifts of each Season - by Getting Ready.
