Sustainability
The Wild and Stone team are passionate about creating and introducing reusable products into our homes to ensure that the biosphere and human civilisation can coexist harmoniously.
Supply Chain
They are committed to keeping their supply chains as transparent and ethical as possible. Products are only made from materials that are farmed ethically and sustainably - they only use organic textiles and they only ever use Moso bamboo.
Wild & Stone have a close relationship with their suppliers and are in continual contact to ensure regulations are adhered to.
They use FSC® certified materials wherever possible, as shown on the product pages. FSC® C007915.
People in this supply chain
Committed to ensuring that the people who form the Wild & Stone supply chain, are paid fairly for their work, earning above a living wage, they must be treated well by their employers and should feel safe in their working environment - workers are of the legal age of employment and they work legal hours (no more than eight hours per day).
Our Planet
Passionate people who believe in only using materials and processes that cause the least amount of damage to our planet, ensuring that no unnecessary chemicals are used in the manufacturing processes.
You will find only eco-friendly and organic materials, OEKO-TEX® certified dyes and water based, toxic free paints, in their products.
They only use Moso bamboo and you’ll never find any melamine added to their products.
All Wild & Stone products are delivered to them and delivered to you in recycled packaging or recyclable packing, lowering our impact further. All stickers use eco glue to lower our environmental impact further.
Dedicated to minimise their carbon footprint by consolidating shipments and only shipping by sea and not air, they are aware that the shipping of products is an ongoing challenge and promise to continually evolve and improve if possible. Like reviewing, carefully, carbon offsetting programmes which by the time you read this they may have implemented.
A Love note to bamboo
Wild & Stone admit they have a bit of a love affair with this mighty plant. Not only is it hardy and naturally anti-bacterial, but as a fast growing grass, it requires no fertiliser and self-regenerates from its own roots. This means it doesn’t need to be replanted making it naturally sustainable.
Continuing Professional Development
This company is committed to continuously working to improve their eco & ethical position - researching and taking up new solutions as they become available.
And they love to pass on learnings and share new knowledge.
