The soft, pale colours and size of this unique blanket, make for a great unisex cot blanket, or lap shrug, or, for your fur babies, it’s chunky enough for, a pet blanket/chair throw.
N.B. Because of the nature of this craft, sizing is approximate. We cannot specify the yarn types used and they may contain wool or synthetic fibres. Which, also, means we cannot specifically advise on the aftercare. We, however, suggest the following:-
Aftercare: Hand wash cool/30 deg, cold rinse, very gentle hand-wring, then flat dry.
DO NOT: Tumble dry, iron or bleach.
Charity Item
This rustic, hand-knitted, blanket was ‘patchwork’ knitted by a group of ladies who knit and crochet for charities in the Benfleet/Essex 🇬🇧 Area. It was then cleverly stitched together by Chris - it is unique and one of a kind.
The knitting group sources yarn from donations and knit for free.
We at, Coralee, pay £10 for the blanket and all of that goes to their supported charities:- Acres Way & Hillside Animal Sanctuary. We add on 10% to support our packaging costs. (On its own this blanket does not qualify for free shipping - check the shipping tab for details.)
As dog lovers we are particularly thrilled that they include Acres Way, a local to us, boarding and rehoming centre, where the lost puppy that we found, stayed while waiting for her owner to come and claim her...
