Description

Inci: Melissa Officinalis Leaf Oil

A sweet, slightly herbaceous and vegetal lemon aroma. Often called Lemon Balm.

A clear to pale yellow, volatile oil obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and tops of the Melissa plant.
 
According to the Cosmetic Ingredient Database (CosIng), the functions of Melissa Essential Oil are: Masking, Perfuming, Tonic.

HOW TO USE IT

Skin Care
Can be used in products for acne prone skin and an effective choice in foot creams. 

Hair Care
As it is a gentle astringent, it is suitable for an oily scalp.

Other
As a mood enhancer, it can help to lift the spirits when used in an oil burner or diffuser.
Use in a bath oil blend.
 

CAUTIONS/CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Avoid using on sensitive skin or during pregnancy as some people can have dermal irritation.
  • Do not use with low blood pressure or with Fennel.

If you have shopped with us before ( Thank you, Returning Champion, we appreciate you ), please be aware that we have had to cut our FREE SHIPPING criteria, due to vastly increasing product purchasing prices and being a small business. 

We will calculate specific bundle purchases carefully and maybe offer free delivery on chosen bundles, if we can make it cost effective.
